Position Purpose:

The Visual Media Coordinator will provide creative assistance within the visual media department through hands-on experience with on-site shoots, production, storyboarding, strategizing and editing.


The duties of the Visual Media Coordinator include the items below, and may be modified to meet the needs of the business:


  • Storyboarding and strategy
  • Question and script development
  • Production assistance
  • On-site shoots
  • Editing
  • Animation
  • Client interface
  • Equipment pick-up, drop-off, and maintenance
  • Assists in video prospecting & follow-ups
  • Creates video and gifs for Small Giants and client social media


  • Storyboarding and shoot preparation
  • Equipment prep and setup
  • Equipment pick-up, drop-off, and maintenance
  • Posing and staging
  • On-site shoots

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Preferred:

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe AfterEffects and, Adobe Audition
  • Proven experience working with various cameras including, but not limited to: Canon, BlackMagic, RED, Sony, or Arri
  • Experience with handling and set-up of grip equipment, studio lighting, camera stabilizer, and drone
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator Programs.
  • Duties require good judgment, initiative and ability to deal with last-minute changes or critical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
  • Requires good time management and organizational abilities.
  • Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with the public.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Detail oriented.
  • Enjoys working with people and participating in a team environment.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Creative training at a trade school or four-year university
  • Background in videography, photography or design
