The MT is a change agent that helps Lucid’s Marketing team members understand how they can craft better campaigns by leveraging technology, software tools, and data. This position is very much a hybrid that clearly sees the connection between marketing and technology. The MT is a strategic thinker that reimagines a client’s engagement with its audience across new channels and identifies the technical infrastructure to execute that vision.

Responsibilities

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Championing the indivisibility of marketing and technology to identify requirements and opportunities for potential clients
  • Establishing scopes and pricing for MT-related projects (e.g. marketing automation, data integrations, etc.)

STRATEGY

  • Carefully analyzing existing client engagement to uncover new opportunities for enhanced communication or efficiency via software integration
  • Auditing an existing digital tool from a technology perspective and determine how well it achieves user and business goals in its current state
  • Auditing a client’s CRM implementation to re-organize, increase efficiency, and identify gaps or opportunities
  • Leading requirements gathering meetings with clients. Knowing what questions to ask from a granular technology perspective to a high-level marketing strategy perspective
  • Working with clients to establish SMART marketing goals for automation projects
  • Establishing lead scoring strategies
  • Working with a cross-functional team to develop segmentation, communication, and workflow strategies based on user flows
  • Establishing and documenting data management governance
  • Creating campaign performance reports for marketing automation efforts
  • Analyzing performance reports on a regular basis to identify improvements. Making iterative optimization recommendations and executing upon these
  • Continuously learning about new ways to connect marketing and IT

IMPLEMENTATION

  • Building lead intake forms
  • Configuring lead scores
  • Configuring smart lists and list rules based on segmentation strategy
  • Configuring multi-step automated workflows
  • Configuring automated emails
  • Email content loading
  • Configuring SMTP mail relays
  • Configuring form notifications and conditional routing
  • Configuring conditional form logic for confirmations
  • Using APIs or 3rd party tools such as Zapier to map data between multiple tools
  • Mapping form fields
  • Testing end-to-end automation implementations with methodical troubleshooting. Communication with external support teams is frequently required.
  • Protecting client data and security

MANAGEMENT

  • Managing all marketing automation tickets through a project management system with deadlines and accountability
  • Writing tickets in an extremely specific and articulate manner; breaking down epic client requirements into actionable tickets
  • Communicating directly with clients to achieve an efficient and positive project outcome
  • Establishing integration roadmaps
  • Communicating dependencies and timelines to clients
  • Enforcing strict adherence to data governance policy
  • Working closely with the development team to execute technical implementation
  • Working closely with the marketing team to understand campaign goals and make software recommendations
  • Working closely with the content team to implement messaging strategy
  • Managing credentials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or related field
  • 4+ years of work experience in a technology-facing position
  • Basic HTML coding ability
  • Enterprise-level project management experience
  • A deep understanding of Inbound Methodology
  • Expert knowledge of technical organic optimization
  • Demonstrable experience mapping fields between multiple CRMs
  • Experience creating Zapier zaps
  • Experience with form integrations
  • Experience implementing workflows within CRMs
  • The ability to ask intelligent, probing questions
  • A knack for quickly adapting to vastly different industries, clients, and personalities
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • A calm demeanor under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Extremely organized
  • A love of problem-solving
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Agency experience highly preferred

Location and Hours: We value the power of teamwork, so this position would require you to work in our office in Downtown Tempe (off Mill Avenue) during standard business hours.
