Account Managers at Ideas Collide oversee end-to-end project planning, execution and analysis, as well as manage key client relationships. This role is an important communicator between external and internal teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns with business impact.

Account Manager responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic marketing initiatives to help clients achieve their business goals
  • Conceptualize, plan, execute and evaluate multi-channel, marketing automation campaigns
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with key agency clients
  • Provide end-to-end project oversight for integrated communications touchpoints, including email, web, social, paid advertising, promotions, collateral, events
  • Manage complex projects and fluid timelines, often with competing priorities
  • Coordinate internal/external teams to facilitate creative development, campaign implementation and performance analysis
  • Lead client-facing meetings and phone calls; create agendas, presentation materials, meeting notes
  • Establish and track budgets, scope projects, handle account financials
  • Create, edit and refine content to ensure consistent messaging and application of brand across communications
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators based on campaign objectives; facilitate reporting of campaign results and advise on optimizations
  • Remain current in latest marketing trends and provide strategic recommendations based on new research and findings
  • Keep firm commitment to quality control and exceeding expectations across all facets of client and project management

Account Manager qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-5 years project management in marketing or communications position, with 1-2 years focus on direct account and/or client management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business or related filed or study required
  • Experience with marketing automation and B2B marketing strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal teams and client organizations, with effectiveness and diplomacy, particularly as part of a team effort
  • Successful client relationship manager and agency liaison
  • Comfort with email, web and social media technologies and the standards required to execute marketing campaigns in new media channels
  • Adept in understanding best practices in email, website usability, user interfaces, as well as print and web-based design
  • Polished communication skills, both verbal and written; comfortable leading conversations with client stakeholders in a corporate environment
  • Results-driven mindset and commitment to achieving successful project outcomes
  • Success in roles that require management of multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to create, streamline, and troubleshoot client projects, offer creative solutions and effective processes
  • Proficient in using Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; experience with project management tools like Jira, Mavenlink, Basecamp is a plus
