Job Summary:

The Associate Content Strategist is an entry-level position that will perform various duties for the Content Department while learning about and growing into client-facing duties and full Content Strategist responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track progress of content deliverables from creation to delivery
  • Assist in maintenance of overall client content calendar
  • Facilitate communication with writers
  • Light writing, proofreading and editing duties
  • Data entry and other administrative functions
  • Audit client websites to identify content gaps and needs
  • Work with SEO team members to devise content strategies for clients
  • Research competitors and conduct competitive analyses for clients
  • Perform keyword research and relevancy research
  • Manage website content, including image and video optimization

Preferred Skills:

  • Good understanding of content marketing principles and SEO
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong writing, proofreading and editing abilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-2 years of work experience (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Creative and comfortable collaborating with others
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude
