THE JOB:

The Account Manager will run the day to day operation for our Disney Parks account. This person is responsible for understanding the client’s business and objectives and represents the client’s POV during internal meetings. He/she is accountable for managing agency resources, accurate scoping and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget, while delivering an exceptional client experience.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, be a Disney fan and have experience in account services in an ad agency.

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage client service for select accounts by applying strategic thinking and understanding of client’s industry, consumer and competitive landscape
  • Guide the integrated team of strategists, planners and creatives in the development of programs to deliver on client objectives
  • Participate in accurate scoping for clients’ projects
  • Respond to all strategy and creative providing positive as well as constructive feedback for improvement, always through the eyes of the client
  • Write clearly defined briefs
  • Maintain project status reports for both clients and agency team members
  • Participate in the developing campaign insights and in campaign evaluation and analysis
  • Participate in forecasting and profitability management for select accounts
  • Manage expectations, emotions, timelines and budgets, internally and externally
  • Retain business by delivering outstanding client experience and work that drives results
  • Facilitate trust internally and externally with open, transparent communication
  • Encourage and enable others to fulfill career goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of account service experience, preferably in an agency environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while keeping projects on time, on budget and above expectations
  • Experience managing digital marketing campaigns, including content marketing
  • Capacity for understanding, interpreting and presenting consumer data and analytics
  • Results-orientation and willingness to improve process
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate without authority
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and ability to manage many projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude with numbers
  • Passion for the details
  • High-level of energy and enthusiasm with a drive for creating positive outcomes
  • Desire to contribute to agency culture

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field, is required
  • Experience managing content programs and digital promotions, is preferred
  • Working knowledge of the web development process and experience managing website builds, is also preferred

TRAVEL:

This position requires occasional travel up to 20%, mostly domestic.
